Roudaina Bakshish is a self-taught visual artist working primarily with acrylic painting and mixed media. Her practice draws on Egyptian heritage, cultural identity, and storytelling, bringing traditional visual references into dialogue with a contemporary artistic language. Her work spans painting, murals, illustration, community-based art, and art education, with a particular interest in symbols, patterns, and visual elements inspired by Egyptian environments.

Selected Experience & Achievements

Participated in exhibitions at Salah Taher Gallery, Cairo Opera House, Picasso Gallery, Atelier Cairo, Siwa Art Forum, and Al Ahram Exhibition.
Illustrated three bilingual children’s books in Arabic and French, in addition to a publication focusing on Siwan embroidery and cultural heritage.
Created public murals across Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Aswan, Dahab, and Siwa Oasis.
Founded an art space in Siwa dedicated to preserving and reinterpreting local heritage through contemporary art and community-based creative projects.
Designed and facilitated art workshops for children and adults, including workshops within international homeschooling programmes.
Her artworks have been acquired by private collectors in Egypt and internationally.
